Annointing of the Sick.

By the sacred anointing of the sick and the prayer of the priests the whole Church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that he may raise them up and save them and indeed she exhorts them to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and death of Christ.

All seriously ill persons, or those awaiting surgery should celebrate the Anointing of the Sick.

To arrange this sacrament for someone who is in immediate need of anointing call the parish office at (705) 674-6447  or speak to Pastoral Care Staff at your health care facility.

Please contact the office at (705) 674-6447 or (christtheking@diocesessm.org) for further questions or information.
